Welcome to Allen Heating and Cooling! With over 24 years of experience in the industry, we are equipped to take care of all our heating, cooling, and ventilation needs.
Our Story
Allen Heating and Cooling Inc. is a family-owned business that started in September of 2005—but not without experience! One-half of the company is owned by Thomas Howe, our President, who has had 24 years of extensive experience in the HVAC field. Thomas is a graduate of ETI in Itasca, IL. The other half is owned by Tom’s wife, Kimberly Howe who also serves as the Office Manager. Tom’s father-in-law helped build the business from 2006-2015 as a managing partner but retired in 2015.
In February of 2012, Allen Heating and Cooling Inc., along with its sister company Bomar Heating & Cooling Inc. of Freeport, made an asset purchase of Norstar Heating & Cooling Inc. in Rockford, IL. Bomar and Allen are owned by the same family.
Allen Heating and Cooling has ten late-model work vehicles and two trailers with nine skilled & trained employees to ensure prompt, courteous service at your doorstep. Remember, there are never any overtime or premium charges—regardless of what time you call—for our Service Club members.
